This week, several Phillies players, staff and alumni will be back in town to participate in multiple community and charitable events as part of this year’s Winter Tour. The offseason happenings take place less than a month before pitchers and catchers report for spring training in Clearwater, Fla.
Scheduled to participate are pitcher Tanner Banks, infielder Otto Kemp and outfielder Weston Wilson, along with Phillies manager Rob Thomson.
Special appearances will also be made by 1993 National League champions Mickey Morandini and Milt Thompson (also a 2008 World Series champion coach), 1980 World Series champion Dickie Noles and the Phillie Phanatic.
