Musical All-Stars Ronnie DeVoe and Prince Royce Make Their Celebrity Softball Debuts
Terrell Owens, Elle Duncan, Maria Taylor, Jake Storiale and Nicky Cass Join the Action on the Field
Songwriters Hall of Famer Jermaine Dupri and Former Braves Star Javy Lopez will Manage Each Team
Major League Baseball today revealed an additional roster of entertainers set to hit the field in the 2025 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game presented by GEICO, taking place at Truist Park on Saturday, July 12. This fan-favorite event brings together an exciting mix of entertainment, sports and pop culture stars for a high-energy showdown in the heart of Braves Country.
Atlanta’s own Jermaine Dupri will face off against three-time Atlanta Braves All-Star Javy Lopez, as they each manage their star-studded rosters through the five-inning softball exhibition game. Final rosters, official teams and uniforms will be revealed at a later date.
Among the lineup of celebrities heading to Atlanta for this year’s softball exhibition are a range of music superstars making their Celebrity Softball debuts, including Atlanta natives Big Boi, Kandi Burruss and Mariah The Scientist, R&B icon Ronnie DeVoe and Latin superstar and bachata music idol Prince Royce.
Beyond the music world, additional participants include Pro Football Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, Atlanta comedian and actor Funny Marco, social media star Nicky Cass, ESPN’s Elle Duncan, sportscaster Maria Taylor, Jomboy Media sports commentator Jake Storiale and the Capital One Bank Guy.
This group joins the previously announced celebrities playing in this year’s game: Two-Time Olympian and Gold Medalist Jordan Chiles; Atlanta native and hip-hop star Quavo; Latin music superstars Eladio Carrión, Young Miko, Myke Towers and Wisin; comedian, actor and entrepreneur Druski; Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo; Olympic Softball Gold Medalists Jennie Finch and Natasha Watley; and MLB Legend and 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame inductee CC Sabathia.
The Celebrity Softball Game follows the 2025 All-Star Futures Game, which features baseball’s top Minor League prospects. Managers for the Futures Game this year are Atlanta Braves legends Marquis Grissom Jr. and Chipper Jones. Tickets for All-Star Saturday are available now and can be purchased at AllStarGame.com. To celebrate today’s roster announcement, fans purchasing single-game tickets for All-Star Saturday will have the ability to receive discounted tickets in select sections of Truist Park for a limited time. Tickets for All-Star Saturday include access to both events at Truist Park and gates open at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are also available at AllStarGame.com for other exciting All-Star Week events, including the HBCU Swingman Classic and Capital One All-Star Village.
The 2025 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game presented by GEICO, benefitting the mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of America in celebration of its nearly 29-year partnership with Major League Baseball, will stream live across numerous digital platforms, including MLB social media channels, MLB.TV and MLB.com at approximately 8:30 PM ET. MLB Network is scheduled to air the Celebrity Softball game on Monday, July 14 at 1:00 PM ET.
