D-backs announce details for World Series presented by Capital One Games 3 & 4

The Arizona Diamondbacks will host the Texas Rangers for Games 3 and 4 of the World Series, presented by Capital One, on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31.

Game 3: Monday, October 30

Gates Open: 2:00 p.m.

Game time: 5:03 p.m.

Giveaway:**All fans will receive a Capital One Cooling Scarf featuring World Series branding. The first 40,000 will also** receive a D-backs Rally Towel, sponsored by Capital One.

Ceremonial First Pitch: Two critical members of the 2001 World Series Championship D**-backs will take the mound for the ceremonial first pitches – **Luis Gonzalez and Hall of Famer Randy Johnson. The World Series heroes – Gonzalez with the walk-off, series-clinching hit; Johnson with the Game 7 win and World Series co-MVP – will reunite for the first Fall Classic Game at Chase Field in 22 years.

Anthem: The national anthem will be performed by multi-platinum singer and songwriter Jordin Sparks. Sparks was the winner of season six American Idol, one of the show's highest-rated seasons, garnering worldwide attention. The Phoenix native has toured with superstars Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, The Jonas Brothers, New Kids on The Block, and the Backstreet Boys; headlined her own tour; and recently returned to the Broadway stage as the lead in the TONY® award winning WAITRESS to critical acclaim. She currently holds the position of Governor of the LA Chapter of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYS).

Color Guard: The Luke Air Force Base Honor Guard will present the colors for the National Anthem.

Roof Status: The roof will be open.

Flyover: The 310th Fighter Squadron from Luke Air Force Base will support with four F-35s.

Game 4: Tuesday, October 31

Ceremonial First Pitch: Game Four – Masters Champion, Arizona State University alumnus and Phoenix resident Jon Rahm will throw the Game Four ceremonial first pitch.

Anthem: The national anthem will be performed by Mickey Guyton, the four-time GRAMMY nominee and 2022 TIME Breakthrough Artist of the Year, will perform the National Anthem before Game 4. Guyton made history as the first Black artist to earn a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. “Remember Her Name” also landed Mickey with GRAMMY nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. She performed as part of the 2021 awards ceremony. Audiences around the world watched Guyton deliver a powerful message of inclusivity and togetherness with her performance of the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.

Color Guard: The Luke Air Force Base Honor Guard will present the colors for the National Anthem.

Roof Status: The roof is scheduled to be open, weather permitting.

Flyover: The 924th Fighter Group from Davis Monthan Air Force Base will support with four A-10’s.
