MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins, who remain on top of the American League Central division with a record of 25-22, return to Target Field for their fourth homestand of the season, a six-game, seven-day stay. The Twins are set to host San Francisco for three games from tonight-Wednesday, May 24; the Giants visit Target Field for a second-straight season after the Twins swept them in three games last August. Following an off-day on Thursday, May 25, Minnesota welcomes the Toronto Blue Jays for three games over the weekend, May 26-28.

The homestand will feature two gate giveaways (T-Shirt Tuesday with Evan Weselmann on Tuesday, May 23 and Twins Trucker Hat presented by Sheboygan Sausage Company on Saturday, May 27), two Theme Nights (College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University Night on Tuesday, May 23; and Wine, Women & Baseball on Sunday, May 28) and one Kids Day presented by Gillette Children’s and Target (Sunday, May 28).

This six-game homestand will feature several special events: a pregame Happy Hour on Tuesday, May 23, as part of CBS/SJU Night, featuring $6 draft beers and $1 fountain sodas at concession stands throughout Target Field (from when gates open at 5:30 p.m. through 6:40 p.m.); the organization-wide Twins Week of Service kickoff volunteer event on Tuesday, May 23, in partnership with MATTER and the JP4 Foundation; two activations for local students, Weather Day and STEM Day on Wednesday, May 24; the club’s annual RBI Glove Giveaway on Wednesday, May 24 at two locations in Minneapolis and St. Paul; and Catch on the Field postgame on Saturday, May 27.

TWINS VS. SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS: MONDAY, MAY 22 – WEDNESDAY, MAY 24 (3 GAMES)
Monday, May 22 vs. San Francisco Giants (6:40 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.)
- Aurora on the Horizon: Ahead of their season opener on Wednesday against Rochester FC, Minnesota Aurora FC will visit Target Field on Monday and midfielder Rami Rapp will throw (or kick?) out a ceremonial first pitch.
- TC Summer Fest Preview, Take Me Out to the Ballgame Style: Local indie-pop band Yam Haus will be on hand to sing the 7th Inning Stretch on Monday night. The band is part of the Friday, July 14 lineup of the inaugural TC Summer Fest, which takes place at Target Field this coming July 14-15.
Tuesday, May 23 vs. San Francisco Giants (6:40 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.)
- Week of Service Kickoff: The Twins’ second annual organization-wide ‘Week of Service’ kicks off on Tuesday at Target Field, with players, coaches and front office staff partaking in a volunteer project in partnership with MATTER and the JP4 Foundation. From 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., the Twins will be packing MATTERboxes full of healthy, non-perishable food items for kids and their families, which will then be distributed via the JP4 Foundation.
- College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University Night: Join your fellow Bennies and Johnnies at Target Field for the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University Night! Fans who purchase this special theme night package receive a ticket to the game, plus an exclusive, co-branded CBS/SJU/Twins “M and North Star” cap (a portion of each ticket sold through this theme night package will support the CSB/SJU Alumni Association). The night also includes a ceremonial first pitch by CSB/SJU President Brian Bruess and more!
- Pregame Happy Hour: Prior to Tuesday night’s Twins game, fans are invited to enjoy $6 draft beers and $1 fountain sodas at concession stands around Target Field. This special offer is valid from when gates open at 5:30 p.m. until first pitch at 6:40 p.m.
- Gate Giveaway – T-Shirt Tuesday with Evan Weselmann: The Twins’ T-Shirt Tuesday artist series returns for the second of six installments during the 2023 season. The first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a Twins-inspired T-shirt designed by Evan Weselmann, a Minneapolis-based artist and designer. Inspired by both traditional painting and street culture, Weselmann’s style is bold, bright and colorful, and he has worked with clients both locally and globally such as Francis Burger Joint, JD Sport and Kid Cudi.
Wednesday, May 24 vs. Francisco Giants (12:10 p.m.; gates open at 10:30 a.m.)
- Honoring Champions: On the field prior to Wednesday’s game, the Twins are proud to recognize the defending NCAA Division I FCS Champion South Dakota State University Jackrabbits football team, who won the school’s first national title in January. The celebration will include a ceremonial first pitch. SDSU will return to Target Field on Saturday, September 16 to host Drake University in the third-ever college football game at the Twins’ home ballpark. - Science Rules: Both Target Field and Target Field Station turn into classrooms prior to Wednesday’s game, with experts from KARE 11 teaching students about meteorology and more at Weather Day in the seating bowl, and the Minnesota Robotics Coaches Association leading lessons (and robot demonstrations) for students as part of STEM Day at Target Field Station.
- Postgame – RBI Glove Giveaway in Minneapolis and St. Paul: Following Wednesday afternoon’s game against the Giants, the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, in partnership with the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board, St. Paul Parks and Recreation, and Morrie’s Auto Group, will host its annual RBI Glove Giveaway, with current Twins players distributing over 3,000 new gloves and baseballs to RBI participants ages eight-and-under. This year’s event features two locations, both running from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.: Bryant Square Park in Minneapolis and at the Rice and Arlington Sports Complex in St. Paul.

- Lucky First Pitch: As part of Friday’s pregame, a ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Adam Prock, executive director of the Minnesota Lottery, in celebration of the impact the lottery has on communities across Minnesota.
- Daily Ticket Specials: While the game does not feature a gate giveaway or Theme Night, two of the Twins’ daily ticket specials are available: “All You Can Eat” presented by Bally Sports North and the CUB Family Section with media partner Bally Sports North.
Saturday, May 27 vs. Toronto Blue Jays presented by Sheboygan (1:10 p.m.; gates open at 11:00 a.m.)
- Gate Giveaway – Trucker Hat presented by Sheboygan Sausage Company: The first 10,000 fans through the Target Field gates on Saturday will receive a Twins Trucker Hat presented by Sheboygan Sausage Company. The hat features the Twins’ new “M” and “STP” flags logo emblazoned across a cream backdrop, with navy blue accents.
- High-Quality Campers: Prior to Saturday’s game, the Twins will recognize the skills competition winners and runners-up from the club’s 2022 youth camps, honoring 16 young baseball and softball players in total.
- Postgame – Catch on the Field: Following Saturday’s game, fans of all ages are invited to live out big league dreams with Catch on the Field! Event tickets include a Twins logo baseball, visit from mascot T.C. and the opportunity to play catch on the outfield grass. The session will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game and last one hour. Proceeds from Catch on the Field benefit the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.

- Theme Day – Wine, Women & Baseball: The Twins’ popular Theme Night Wine, Women & Baseball returns for the first of four dates in 2023! This package includes a ticket to the game, an exclusive Twins-branded crossbody bag and access to a pregame hospitality event featuring wine tastings, light appetizers and dessert.
- Making a Racket: Local KFAN on-air personality Justin Gaard will throw out a ceremonial first pitch, as the Twins welcome the United States Tennis Association to Sunday’s game. A former USTA board member, Gaard played tennis at Edina High School and the University of Iowa, before exchanging his racket for a microphone.
