The Pirates today made the following roster moves: 

• Activated RHP David Bednar (Low Back Inflammation) from the 15-day Injured List – STATS
• Placed LHP Eric Stout (Low Back Discomfort) on the 15-day Injured List - STATS
• RHP Tyler Beede has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Indianapolis – STATS
