Senior Vice President, General Counsel
Eunice Nakamura is in her second season with the Texas Rangers, having been hired as Senior Vice President & General Counsel in February 2025. She joined the Rangers after serving as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in Dallas, where she oversaw the Legal, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance functions globally.
Prior to Komen, Nakamura served as Vice President of Legal for a national hospitality company, holding broad legal responsibilities, and began her career as a commercial litigator at a Dallas law firm, representing corporations and organizations across various industries. She is active in both the legal and broader community, serving in multiple board roles, and is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences nationwide. She has received recognition from the State Bar of Texas, the Association of Corporate Counsel, D Magazine, and other organizations for her accomplishments in law.
Nakamura holds a B.A. in Political Science from Baylor University and a Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. She lives in Dallas with her husband, Dice, their son Chayse (12), and two goldendoodles. When not practicing law, she and her husband support Chayse in youth baseball. Nakamura is also an avid enthusiast of sports, travel, coffee, and food.
