Executive Vice President, Venue Operations & Guest Experience
Mike Healy was promoted to Executive Vice President, Venue Operations & Guest Experience in January 2023. He joined the Texas Rangers as Vice President, Ballpark Operations & Guest Services in January 2019 and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Venue Operations and Guest Experience in January 2020. Healy oversees management for facilities, maintenance, guest services, grounds, security, and parking operations at both Globe Life Field and Choctaw Stadium (formerly Globe Life Park in Arlington). He is also responsible for the Rangers Authentics department and IT department and oversees the team’s operational relationship with Delaware North for retail, concessions, and hospitality. In addition, Healy has operational responsibility for the team’s Spring Training facility in Surprise, Arizona, and works closely with the City of Surprise on stadium operations.
Healy joined the Texas organization after 13 years as Vice President, Park Operations for the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. Prior to joining the Tigers, he served as Vice President of Civic Relations and Event Logistics for Olympia Entertainment after spending the previous eight years in various roles with Ilitch Holdings.
He was appointed as the Tigers’ 2005 All-Star Week Liaison with Major League Baseball in July 2004, leading the club’s efforts in preparation and execution of events during MLB’s All-Star Week at Comerica Park in July 2005. Healy also assisted MLB special events on-site during the All-Star Red Carpet Show each year from 2006–19 after helping develop the program in Detroit prior to the 2005 MLB All-Star Game.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Healy earned a Bachelor of Arts in communications with an emphasis in business. He and his wife, Deb, have a son, Preston, and reside in Arlington.
