United by a shared commitment to building a better tomorrow, the Twins and Thrivent are inviting fans to help make an impact. All season long, we feature local nonprofits doing powerful work to cultivate community and build a brighter future for young people across Twins Territory. Fans can vote to help unlock donation dollars for these featured nonprofits and learn more about the powerful work they do.

Our first cohort includes four nonprofits committed to providing opportunities for young people to learn and play.
HopeKids
HopeKids provides an ongoing calendar of events and a unique support community for families with a child with a life-threatening medical condition.
Playworks Minnesota
Playworks helps schools and youth programs create healthy play environments where every child can join in.
ACES
ACES (Athletes Committed to Educating Students) is an innovative out-of-school time program that empowers Minnesota youth by bringing math and social-emotional learning to life.
Tickets for Kids
Tickets for Kids gives under-resourced youth experiences that inspire hope and dreams, creating communities where every child feels included, welcomed, and valued.
Our second cohort includes four nonprofits building career pathways that so that every young person has resources and support to find their purpose and achieve their potential.
Genesys Works
Genesys Works is a year-long internship program that empowers high school students from underrepresented communities to achieve career success through professional and IT skills training, internships and mentorship. Genesys Works fosters a pathway for students to overcome challenges and emerge as the leaders of tomorrow.
MIGIZI
MIGIZI nurtures the holistic development and well-being of American Indian youth in the Twin Cities metro area with a variety of out-of-school time and employment programs. The Indigenous-led organization honors the sacred gifts and boundless potential of young people, providing support and opportunities that build confidence, skills, opportunity, and cultural identity.
Northside Achievement Zone
Northside Achievement Zone is on a mission to end multi-generational poverty in North Minneapolis by building a culture of achievement where all low-income children of color have the support they need to graduate high school and succeed in college, career, and life.
Project for Pride in Living
Project for Pride in Living builds hope, assets and self-reliance of individuals and families with lower incomes by providing affordable housing and career readiness services.

Great River Greening
Great River Greening is an environmental nonprofit that restores Minnesota’s green spaces though hands-on, community-based stewardship. Their mission is to inspire, engage, and empower communities across the state to conserve and care for the land and water that sustain us.
Spark-Y
Spark-Y empowers youth through hands-on sustainability education, connecting STEM skills with real-world projects that launch future careers.
Urban Roots
Urban Roots is a St. Paul nonprofit working to improve greenspaces, grow and prepare fresh food, and provide youth with paid internships and career exploration opportunities.
Tree Trust
Tree Trust transforms lives and landscapes in the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota through workforce training, tree planting, and professional landscape services.
Our fourth cohort includes four nonprofits connecting young people to positive adult mentors who help them envision and achieve their potential.
Girls on the Run Minnesota
Girls on the Run programs inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates movement.
Mentor North
Mentor North pairs Twin Ports youth with caring adult mentors, providing positive support for up to 200 kids, their families, and 100+ volunteers each year.
Reading Partners Minnesota
Reading Partners’ mission is to help children become lifelong readers by empowering communities to provide individualized instruction with measurable results.
MENTOR Minnesota
MENTOR Minnesota ensures all young people have access to life-changing mentors by equipping professionals and programs with the tools to help them thrive.
Nominate a Nonprofit
Featured nonprofits are selected and vetted by the Twins and Thrivent based on characteristics including, but not limited to, alignment with the selected philanthropic theme, proven success in driving impact, and distinctiveness of programs and services. You can recommend a nonprofit for a future season. Only nonprofits in Twins Territory fitting the philanthropic theme of the season will be considered.
