All season long, we feature local nonprofits doing powerful work to cultivate community and build a brighter future for young people across Twins Territory. Fans can vote to help unlock donation dollars for these featured nonprofits and learn more about the powerful work they do.

Genesys Works is a year-long internship program that empowers high school students from underrepresented communities to achieve career success through professional and IT skills training, internships and mentorship. Genesys Works fosters a pathway for students to overcome challenges and emerge as the leaders of tomorrow.

MIGIZI nurtures the holistic development and well-being of American Indian youth in the Twin Cities metro area with a variety of out-of-school time and employment programs. The Indigenous-led organization honors the sacred gifts and boundless potential of young people, providing support and opportunities that build confidence, skills, opportunity, and cultural identity.

Northside Achievement Zone is on a mission to end multi-generational poverty in North Minneapolis by building a culture of achievement where all low-income children of color have the support they need to graduate high school and succeed in college, career, and life.

Featured nonprofits are selected and vetted by the Twins and Thrivent based on characteristics including, but not limited to, alignment with the selected philanthropic theme, proven success in driving impact, and distinctiveness of programs and services. You can recommend a nonprofit for a future season. Only nonprofits in Twins Territory fitting the philanthropic theme of the season will be considered.
