LOS ANGELES -- Are you familiar with the Brewers’ song?
No, not “Roll Out the Barrel.” The other one, the viral hit that will be stuck in your head for the foreseeable future.
“Ohhhhhhh Milwaukee Brewers!!!! Milwaukee Brewers!!!!” closer Trevor Megill maniacally sang in Thursday night’s National League Championship Series-clinching clubhouse. “I love that song!”
Local rapper Foenem is the mastermind behind the earworm, originally posting the one-minute and 39-second song on TikTok on Oct. 4. Since then, it has been viewed and liked 522,100 and 56,800 times, respectively. Six days later, he added a music video, which was filmed outside of American Family Field, to YouTube and has accumulated more than 66,000 views.
Foenem, who previously created tunes about the Milwaukee Central Library, Milwaukee County Zoo and Green Bay Packers, uses high-pitched vocals over a hip-hop beat. And the lyrics are repetitive -- he says Milwaukee Brewers 22 (!) times -- making it unavoidably catchy.

“We've seen it, and it's stuck in a few people's heads for sure,” DL Hall said. “We hear it probably eight to 10 times a day.”
“I looked it up on Apple Music as well, and then, it’s just stuck in my head,” said Robert Gasser, who managed to keep it out during his five-inning start in NLCS Game 3. “It's catchy in a way, in its own way. We're on the bus and we're listening to music. ‘Milwaukee Brewers!’”
Only two players get namedropped in the song, and they are two worthy choices: NL Cy Young frontrunner Jacob Misiorowski and captain Christian Yelich.
Jacob is our pitcher
Three strikes, you’re out
Christian is our designated hitter
When he hit the baseball, he make the Brewers’ lights flicker
Misiorowski, who is a country and rock music fan, only found out about his inclusion in the song -- the first of perhaps many in the future if he keeps firing off triple-digit fastballs -- because he kept getting bombarded with messages about it.
“My name's in it, and I know he says, 'the Milwaukee Brewers,' about a dozen times,” Misiorowski said. “That's all they play for the clubhouse, like the little quick snippet of the beginning.”
Listen to audio of postgame interviews inside the clubhouse and you’re likely to hear a player or two singing a line from the song in the background. It has become the unofficial Brewers anthem since the NL Division Series against the Padres.
“It's been as of late, last week I would say,” said Sal Frelick, who denied being the voice fans heard singing it earlier in the week.
The Brewers, who led the Majors with a franchise-record 103 wins during the regular season, are returning to the World Series for the first time in 44 years after sweeping the Dodgers.
Regardless of what you think of the song, the Brewers and their fans hope Foenem’s lyrics ring true when the Fall Classic is done.
Milwaukee Brewers, this our year
We got heart, no fear
Milwaukee Brewers is the best team is that clear?
Our stadium be so loud, I can’t hear
“The algorithm led us to a good place,” Megill gleefully summed it up.
