Back on Sept. 3, the Cardinals' Paul DeJong hit a ball that seemed destined to be foul, but then it took a hard curve back toward the infield and ended up going for a single.

Giants manager Bruce Bochy, who's been in this game a long time, was impressed.

With runners on second and third and one out in the sixth inning, Twins second baseman Luis Arraez hit a ground ball toward White Sox third baseman Yoán Moncada. Moncada appeared like he might have a play on the ball, but then it took an unexpected turn right -- causing Moncada to slip and fall -- and made its way into the outfield for a two-run single to give the Twins a 5-2 lead in a game they would go on to win, 5-3.
