Urias reinstated from leave; Garlick optioned

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers left-handed pitcher Julio Urías was reinstated from administrative leave and outfielder Kyle Garlick was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Urías, 22, has appeared in nine games (four starts) this season. He is 2-2 with a 3.18 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 28 1/3 innings. He recorded his first career save on May 6 against the Braves and is 2-for-2 in save chances. In his four-year MLB career, he is a combined 7-6 with a 3.60 ERA in 35 games (24 starts).

Garlick made his Major League debut on Sunday with a fly out to left field. The 28th-round selection of the 2015 First-Year Player Draft out of Cal Poly Pomona had his contract purchased for the first time in his career on Friday. In five Minor League seasons, he is a combined .283 (431-for-1,525) with 78 homers and 244 RBIs across five different levels.
