Community Relations and Government Affairs

The Community Relations and Government Affairs team spearheads the Dodgers’ civic and philanthropic efforts. Serving as a cornerstone for the organization to solidify and grow loyalty to the Dodger brand, the department builds and maintains strong relationships with local leaders, government entities, community stakeholders, and players and their families.

Relief Efforts

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation are standing alongside Angelenos during these difficult times. Together, we are committed to supporting relief efforts for the families and communities affected by the recent fires, while also extending support and gratitude to the heroic first responders who have been serving on the front lines of these devastating events.

Together with the eleven other professional sports teams that make up the Alliance, the teams pledged $8 million to multiple nonprofit organizations leading the relief efforts in Los Angeles, including: the American Red Cross, the California Fire Foundation, the Los Angels Fire Foundation, and the Eaton Canyon Fire Relief & Recovery Fund. In addition, all 12 professional teams have partnered with Fanatics to donate and distribute more than 75,000 items including sports apparel, shoes, school supplies, and necessary essentials to families affected by the fires. The Dodgers and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation are committed to continuing to support the communities affected by the fires throughout the 2025 season.
