NEW YORK -- Nolan McLean will return to the mound in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rockies for his sixth start of the season, carrying a 1-1 record and 2.67 ERA into that contest at Citi Field. Here’s what to know heading into his outing:
Last start: McLean was perfect through five innings for the second time this season and struck out a season-high 10 batters. But he ran into trouble in the sixth and seventh innings, allowing three runs to take a no-decision against the Twins.
