MIAMI -- The Marlins on Thursday parted ways with president of business operations Chip Bowers, who held the position for about 14 months.
Bowers joined the Marlins in February 2018 after serving as chief marketing officer for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors.
Moving forward, the Marlins are reshuffling some roles on their business side. Adam Jones will move into the role of chief revenue officer, overseeing all revenue departments. Caroline O’Connor will move into the role of chief operating officer, overseeing all internal service departments.
The Marlins are off on Thursday, and they open a three-game series with the Braves on Friday at Marlins Park.
