MIAMI – The Miami Marlins will host Venezuelan Heritage Night presented by Santa Teresa 1796 on Saturday, July 25, when the club takes on the San Diego Padres at loanDepot park. In response to the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, this year's event has evolved beyond a traditional heritage celebration, bringing together the South Florida community to support humanitarian relief efforts while honoring the resilience, culture and contributions of the Venezuelan people.
Fans can support the relief efforts through the special Venezuelan Heritage ticket package. A portion of proceeds from every ticket package sold will be donated to Venezuelan relief efforts, with support from presenting partner Santa Teresa 1796, the iconic Venezuelan rum brand.
The Marlins will also recognize members of Urban Search and Rescue Teams Florida Task Force I and Florida Task Force II, made up of first responders from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the City of Miami Fire Rescue, for their extraordinary humanitarian efforts following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela. The elite teams deployed to the hardest-hit communities to conduct life-saving operations, working alongside fellow U.S. rescue teams to locate survivors, provide advanced medical care, assess damaged structures, and bring hope to those affected by the disaster. As part of the Marlins Impact moment during the fourth inning, the club will honor these first responders for their courage, service, and unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Rather than serving solely as a celebration, this year's postgame concert has been reimagined as a relief concert, a meaningful expression of solidarity with the people of Venezuela and all those impacted by the recent earthquakes. Headlined by Ronald Borjas, the concert will also feature Luis Fernando Borjas, Víctor Muñoz, Motiff and Los Pikis, bringing together some of Venezuela's most recognized artists to unite the South Florida community through music, culture and compassion.
The event builds upon the Miami Marlins' continued commitment to supporting relief efforts in Venezuela. Earlier this month, the organization announced a $100,000 donation to Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) to support earthquake relief efforts and partnered with the nonprofit to host a community supply drive at loanDepot park, collecting essential items for families affected by the disaster.
Fans who purchase the special Venezuelan Heritage ticket package will receive an exclusive Venezuelan Heritage jersey, designed by Miami-based Venezuelan artist Arlex Campos, and can participate in a pregame Heritage Walk around the warning track. Campos is widely recognized for his public murals celebrating sports and cultural icons, including his acclaimed Lionel Messi mural in Miami's Wynwood Arts District.
Additional pregame ceremonies will include the national anthem performed by Mariaca Semprum.
Special Venezuelan Heritage ticket packages are available now at Marlins.com/Venezuela.
