Team to watch
Once Thomas White returns from a right oblique strain, Triple-A Jacksonville will boast three Top 100 Prospects in him, fellow left-hander Robby Snelling and catcher Joe Mack. The defending International League champions also feature the system's best slugger in outfielder Kemp Alderman.

Players we could see in MLB in 2026
That entire Jacksonville contingent could nail down starting roles in Miami by the end of the season.

New faces
The key to the Edward Cabrera trade with the Cubs in January, Owen Caissie was an Opening Day starter for the Marlins and drove in six runs in his first five games with his new club. Outfielders Dillon Lewis and Brendan Jones were the main components in the four-prospect package Miami received when it dealt Ryan Weathers to the Yankees six days later. They'll begin the season together in Double-A Pensacola. Shortstops Santiago Solarte and Ronny Muñoz, the two best players in the Marlins' 2026 international class, are set to debut in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League in June.

On the shelf
White should be ready to join the Jacksonville rotation in the next couple of weeks. Outfielder Max Williams, a 2005 third-rounder out of Florida State, had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left (throwing) shoulder in February. The hope is that he'll be able to start getting at-bats as a DH in July.
