Here’s a look at Monday’s top prospect performers from the Arizona Fall League and winter ball.

Giants: Jack Choate, LHP (Unranked), Scottsdale Scorpions
The 23-year-old southpaw was excellent in his fourth start of the Fall League for Scottsdale, twirling three scoreless innings against Surprise. Choate struck out three and allowed only two baserunners, working out of a two-on jam in the second inning to escape his best Fall League outing to date unscathed.

Giants: Marco Luciano, SS (MLB No. 26), Leones del Escogido
After making his Major League debut and finishing the season in the The Show, the Giants’ second-ranked prospect is playing in the Dominican Winter League for the second straight year. He hit his first homer of the campaign and doubled as part of a three-RBI effort for Escogido.

Mets: D’Andre Smith, 2B (Unranked), Glendale Desert Dogs
New York's fifth-round pick in 2022, Smith was limited to 64 games in his first full professional season and is trying to build on that experience in the Fall League. He was a difficult out from the bottom of the lineup in his latest game, going 3-for-3 out of the No. 9 spot in Glendale’s victory over Salt River. Smith doubled twice, singled, walked and scored a run.

Rangers: Emiliano Teodo, RHP (No. 22), Surprise Saguaros
The top relief performance of the night belonged again to Teodo, who recorded the final six outs of Surprise’s win over Scottsdale. The 22-year-old struck out two across two scoreless innings. He’s unscored upon this fall in 10 innings across seven appearances. He’s yielded just three hits and has racked up 18 K’s. He’s been so dominant that his latest two punchouts actually lowered his K/9 rate to 16.2. More »

Twins: Aaron Sabato, 1B (Unranked), Glendale Desert Dogs
Minnesota’s first-round pick in 2020, Sabato struggled at Double-A in the regular season with only 12 homers in 77 games and a career-low .759 OPS. But he's been in the swing of things of late for Glendale, and after going yard twice in a win over Salt River, he has four in the past three games. Sabato crushed his first of the night an estimated 448 feet and then knocked a slider an estimated 396 feet two innings later. More »

White Sox: Colson Montgomery (MLB No. 17), Glendale Desert Dogs
Glendale stormed back with a two-run ninth for a walk-off win, and Montgomery was right in the middle of it. His bases-loaded single to center plated Kala’i Rosario (MIN No. 19) with the winning run. The top White Sox prospect also singled in a run in the third on a line drive to right.
