C Kyle Teel
Injury: Right hamstring strain
Expected return: 4-6 weeks
Status: Suffered a Grade 2 strain playing with Team Italy on March 10 in World Baseball Classic. Officially returned to White Sox on March 12 to continue treatment. Will open the season on IL. (Last updated: March 12)
OF Brooks Baldwin
Injury: Right elbow soreness
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Hasn't played in a Cactus League game since March 6, when he sustained the injury throwing to bases. Had imaging done on March 10, with something showing up in there, according to manager Will Venable. Will be checked out by specialists for further treatment. (Last updated: March 12)
RHP Drew Thorpe
Injury: Tommy John surgery
Expected return: 2026
Status: Threw a pair of 20-pitch, all-fastball bullpens, with the second coming March 6. Felt great after both. Tendinitis kept him off the mound through the first three weeks of camp. (Last updated: March 7)
RHP Wikelman González
Injury: Tightness in lower back
Expected return: Day to day
Status: Exited with a 3-2 count on Pablo Reyes during the seventh inning of a Cactus League game with the Padres on March 3. (Last updated: March 3)
LHP Ky Bush
Injury: Tommy John surgery
Expected return: 2026
Status: Placed on 60-day IL as he continues to recover from Tommy John surgery he underwent last year. Has thrown numerous times off the mound. (Last updated: Feb. 17)
1B Tim Elko
Injury: Torn ACL in right knee
Expected return: June-July 2026
Status: Underwent successful surgery to repair the torn ACL on Oct. 28. Estimated recovery time is eight months, per the team. Received non-roster invite to Spring Training. (Last updated: Feb. 17)
RHP Prelander Berroa
Injury: Grade 1 right elbow strain
Expected return: 2026
Status: Has been off the mound a few times and is feeling good in his recovery from Tommy John surgery he underwent March 7, 2025. (Last updated: Feb. 17)
