Hatfield Phillies Franks BOGO Night! Plus, Phillies Ballgirl Kid of the Game to be honored; Thousands of nurses converge, honored on-field, at Nurses Night presented by Temple Health; Placido Polanco returns for 20th Anniversary of Citizens Bank Park Celebration

The excitement continues as the Phillies close out the homestand with a two-game set vs. the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday, May 7, and Wednesday, May 8, at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the games:

1. On Tuesday, May 7, at 6:40 p.m., it’s Hatfield Phillies Franks BOGO Night! Also, in celebration of Nurse’s Appreciation Week, nursing healthcare heroes will be recognized on-field and more than 3,000 nurses will attend the game for Nurses Night presented by Temple Health. Plus, real-time interviews and job offers for future Temple Health nurses will take place at the First Base Plaza.

  • Be on the lookout for Hatfield’s mascot Smiley, who will be on hand to celebrate BOGO Night where fans can buy two hot dogs for the price of one ($5) at concession stands throughout the ballpark.
  • Seven outstanding nurses from the region, representing each Temple Health campus, will take the field to be recognized. Brian Leposki, a top nurse from Temple University Hospital, Episcopal Campus, will have the honor of throwing a ceremonial first pitch.
  • Other highlights include a unique opportunity for fans to learn about nursing and career opportunities with Temple Health at the First Base Plaza. Nurse leaders will be available for real-time interviews and will have the ability to make an offer on the spot. Temple Health is also offering sign-on bonuses.
  • Norah Baldassano, a 4 ½-year-old from Exton, PA, will represent the Phillies Ballgirls on-field as the official “Kid of the Game.”

2. The series concludes on Wednesday, May 8, at 1:05 p.m. with a 20th Anniversary of Citizens Bank Park Celebration, happening at that day’s Citizens Businessperson’s Special.

  • Fans are invited to relive history and celebrate the Phillies’ first 20 years at Citizens Bank Park, featuring former infielder Placido Polanco, who will throw a ceremonial first pitch.
  • Plus, it’s the inaugural School Spirit Day at Citizens Bank Park! Whether it’s wearing your school shirt or designing signs, fans are encouraged to be creative in showing their school spirit and Phillies phandom.
  • Go-Ahead Entry: Fans are invited to enroll on the MLB Ballpark app, a free-flow ballpark entry experience that allows ticket holders the ability to enter the ballpark at full walking speed without stopping. Go-Ahead Entry lanes are located at the First Base, Third Base and Left Field gates.
  • Gate Openings: Gates open at 5:35 p.m. on Tuesday and 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday.
  • Access Tickets & More: Use the free MLB Ballpark app for your guide to Citizens Bank Park and to access tickets (including sports complex parking), forward tickets to friends, use the interactive concourse maps, enroll in Go-Ahead Entry and enjoy games.
  • Broadcast: Both games will be broadcast on NBCSP, 94 WIP and WTTM 1680, as well as available on com and the NBC Sports app. Wednesday’s game will be available on MLB Network (out-of-market only).
  • Mobile Ordering: Includes Manco & Manco @ Foundry Pizza, Miller Lite Liberty Landing, Pass and Stow and Shake Shack. Order your favorite menu items and skip the line when ordering through the MLB Ballpark app.
  • Bag Policy: In an effort to expedite entry, guests are prohibited from bringing non-clear bags, including backpacks and drawstring bags, into the ballpark. Only clutch purses and/or fanny packs (no larger than 5" x 7"), clear bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"), medical bags and diaper bags will be permitted into Citizens Bank Park. All bags will be subject to inspection upon entry in accordance with Major League Baseball security regulations.
  • Uber RideShare Lot: Lot T is designated for Uber RideShare for all Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center events. Fans should exit the Third Base Gate and walk along Pattison Avenue toward Broad Street to enter the lot and request a vehicle, which will meet each rider in the designated area.
  • Parking: Please click here for a parking map. Parking for Phillies games is cashless. Methods of payment include credit/debit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay). To expedite entry, pre-paid parking passes may also be purchased prior to the game.
