Rays host Athletics, Angels in seven-game homestand

Highlights include Pride Night and Dog Day at the Rays

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Rays return to Tropicana Field on Monday to host the Oakland Athletics (June 10-12) and Los Angeles Angels (June 13-16) in a seven-game homestand. The 2019 Rays season is presented by Tampa General Hospital.

Monday, June 10 vs. Oakland Athletics

First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.

Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.

Ticket Special: Salute to Service presented by Suncoast Credit Union: Military, Teachers and First Responders can receive two complimentary tickets by visiting RaysBaseball.com/specials. Tuesday, June 11 vs. Oakland Athletics

First Pitch: 7:10 p.m.

Gates Open: 5:40 p.m.

Tuesday’s Champion: Before every Tuesday home game, the Rays host a youngster from the Make-A-Wish Foundation or Children’s Dream Fund as a part of the “Tuesday’s Champion” program presented by RIPA & Associates. The Rays will host 11-year-old Isaac Ryan-Hallam from Children’s Dream Fund. As part of his special day, Isaac will meet Rays players and coaches during batting practice and throw a ceremonial first pitch.

Wednesday, June 12 vs. Oakland Athletics

First Pitch: 12:10 p.m.

Gates Open: 10:40 a.m.

Tommy Pham National Keratoconus Foundation Event: Rays outfielder and NKCF Ambassador Tommy Pham will host a post-game reception and panel discussion featuring local Keratoconus experts. Tommy will speak about his experience with KC and the effects it’s had on his life. Tommy is also hosting an auction of game used and autographed memorabilia at RaysBaseball.com/auctions with proceeds benefitting the National Keratoconus Foundation.

Ceremonial First Pitch: In honor of becoming Tampa’s first LGBTQ mayor, Jane Castor will throw out the first pitch for the Rays annual Pride Night.

Ticket Special: $7.11 Tickets: For all Friday home games, fans may purchase tickets for only $7.11. To take advantage of this special price, fans should visit a participating local 7-Eleven store and pick up the Rays Friday Night discount coupon. Tickets are limited and fans are encouraged to purchase in advance.

Beer Special: $5 Budweisers on the Budweiser Porch: For all Friday home games, fans 21 and over can head to the Budweiser Porch for $5 Bud & Bud Lights. Please drink responsibly.

Pride Night: Through the purchase of a special ticket package, fans can receive a ticket in the Lower Level and a Rays Pride Hat for $30. The deadline to purchase tickets is June 13 at 11:59 p.m. In addition, fans can visit the Budweiser Porch for a photo opportunity and to see a Stonewall Riots exhibit.

The Rays Artist Print Series: In partnership with Creative Pinellas, an arts agency working to facilitate a vibrant and sustainable arts community, the Rays crafted an opportunity for artists in Tampa Bay to design prints that celebrate the hometown baseball team and honor the unique culture of the region. Each artist selected was invited to create a piece that represents her or his own style and interpretation of the Rays brand. The limited-edition third of seven prints will be released on June 14 and can be purchased for $30 at the Rays Republic Team Store. Designed by St. Petersburg street artist iBOMS, the print depicts Rays mascot Raymond and Angels mascot Rally Monkey to symbolize young rivals coming together to play the sport they love and rising above their differences in honor of Pride Night. Reading with the Rays: Rays outfielder Austin Meadows will host the first Reading with the Rays presented by Suncoast Credit Union event of the summer. Meadows will read to children with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast. Recently launched for its 12th season on June 2, Reading with the Rays presented by Suncoast Credit Union is an incentive-based reading program that encourages Pre-K to 12th grade students to avoid summer learning loss by reading for 24 hours during the summer months. Saturday, June 15 vs. Los Angeles Angels

Rays to Rowdies Doubleheader: With the purchase of a $30 ticket package, fans can gain entry to both the Rays game with seating in the 200 Level at Tropicana Field and at the Rowdies match with seating in the Midfielder’s Reserved Sections 6 or 7 at Al Lang Stadium. Dog Day at the Rays: Saturday, June 15 is Dog Day at the Rays, presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka - Vodka for Dog People. For just $30 ($40 value), the specially-priced ticket package includes a seat for a fan and their dog in the GTE Financial Party Deck and a Rays Dog Day themed item. Dog Day tickets can be purchased at RaysBaseball.com/dogday and the deadline to purchase tickets is June 13 at 11:59 p.m. In conjunction with Dog Day, the Rays Wives will host their seventh annual pet food and supply drive, benefiting Pet Pal Animal Shelter. Pet food and supply donations will be collected inside at the Gate 1 rotunda and outside Gate 6 from 11:40 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. Fans who donate pet food or supplies, including Hill’s Science Diet canned food, will receive a ticket voucher valid for two lower corner tickets to a future Rays game. One voucher per household and exclusions apply.

Community Fund Grant Presentation: The Rays Baseball Foundation will award a total of $100,000 to 20 local non-profit organizations through the Community Fund Grant Program. The recipients will be recognized in an on-field pregame ceremony. To date, the Community Fund Grant Program has awarded more than 316 grants to local charities totaling more than $1.7 million.

Devil Rays Day: The Rays will wear their Majestic Athletic white alternate throwback Devil Rays jerseys and navy blue New Era retro caps, which debuted during last year’s 20th anniversary celebration season. This will be the third of five dates the Rays wear the throwback jerseys and caps.

Sunday, June 16 vs. Los Angeles Angels

First Pitch: 1:10 p.m.

Gates Open: 11:40 a.m.

Ticket Special: Family Packs presented by Coca-Cola: For select Sunday home games, fans can purchase Family Packs, which include three or more outfield tickets and a 20 oz. Coke product with each ticket purchased. Family Pack tickets start at $17 per ticket.

For the Kids: Sundays are Family Fun Days, courtesy of Tampa General Hospital. Every Sunday home game will feature free parking for cars with four or more passengers and a variety of postgame activities for kids, including Kids Run the Bases and a DJ Kitty Dance Party. For the sixth consecutive season, concourse activities will be complimentary for kids 14 years and under on Sundays. In addition, two Rays players will sign autographs for kids 14 years and under along the right field stands from 12–12:30 p.m.

Split the Pot: For all home games, fans can purchase Split the Pot raffle tickets at Tropicana Field as well as online at RaysBaseball.com/splitthepot. Both Tropicana Field and online raffle ticket purchases build to the same pot for a larger payout for each raffle winner. To purchase raffle tickets online, fans must be located in one of the following nine counties: Charlotte, Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota. Proceeds from Split the Pot benefit the Rays Baseball Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization and the official charity of the Rays, and the Ted Williams Foundation.

The Outfielder Bar & Grill and Ballpark & Rec, presented by Samuel Adams, Early Entry: Located behind center field at Tropicana Field, the Outfielder Bar & Grill and Ballpark & Rec, presented by Samuel Adams, will open to fans three hours prior to first pitch for all home games at 4:10 p.m. or later.
