Opening Weekend at Citizens Bank Park: Phillies vs. Braves, March 30-31

Recently retired Philadelphia Eagles stars Jason Kelce & Fletcher Cox to throw ceremonial first pitches on McDonald’s Opening Night!

The fun continues during Opening Weekend at Citizens Bank Park as the Phillies take on the Atlanta Braves, March 30-31. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the games:

  1. Saturday, March 30 is the sold-out McDonald’s Opening Night at 4:05 p.m.; all fans 15 and over will receive a “Fightins” T-shirt, courtesy of McDonalds. Plus, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, who are both recently retired, will each throw a ceremonial first pitch! Before the game, fans can enjoy the Budweiser Block Party with DJ HBK at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar behind Section 148.
  2. On Sunday, March 31, at the 1:35 p.m. game, all fans will receive a 2024 Schedule Magnet presented by Valley Forge Tourism. Young fans can enjoy complimentary face painting at the Yard from 12:05-3:00 p.m.
  3. Check out what’s new at the ballpark this year with details here! Highlights include a new field-level display, the “Next Generation” mural presented by SEI, tasty new concessions, Citizens Bank Park 20th anniversary celebrations, and more.
  4. Stop by the New Era Phillies Team Store, offering exclusive ballpark merchandise! Highlights include a special lineup of memorabilia celebrating Opening Day presented by Nemours Children’s Health and commemorating 20 years of Phillies baseball at Citizens Bank Park, with details here.
  5. Fans are invited to enroll in MLB’s Go-Ahead Entry on the MLB Ballpark App, a free-flow ballpark entry experience. MLB’s Go-Ahead Entry system allows ticket holders the ability to enter the ballpark at full walking speed without stopping. Go-Ahead Entry lanes have been expanded to the First Base, Third Base and Left Field Gates for the 2024 season. Fans who enrolled in Go-Ahead Entry last year will have to re-enroll for the 2024 season.
  • Gate Openings: Gates open at 2:35 p.m. on Saturday; 12:05 p.m. on Sunday.
  • Access Tickets & More: Use the free MLB Ballpark app for your guide to Citizens Bank Park and to access tickets (including sports complex parking), forward tickets to friends, use the interactive concourse maps, enroll in Go-Ahead Entry and enjoy games.
  • Broadcast: Saturday’s game will be broadcast on FS1 and NBCSP+. Sunday’s Game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia and MLB Network (out-of-market only). Both games will be broadcast on 94 WIP and WTTM 1680. In addition, both games will be available on com and the NBC Sports app.
  • Mobile Ordering: Includes Manco & Manco @ Foundry Pizza, Miller Lite Liberty Landing, Pass and Stow and Shake Shack. Order your favorite menu items and skip the line when ordering through the MLB Ballpark App.
  • Bag Policy: In an effort to expedite entry, guests are prohibited from bringing non-clear bags, including backpacks and draw-string bags, into the ballpark. Only clutch purses and/or fanny packs (no larger than 5" x 7"), clear bags (no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"), medical bags, and diaper bags will be permitted into Citizens Bank Park. All bags will be subject to inspection upon entry in accordance with Major League Baseball security regulations.
  • Uber RideShare Lot: Lot T is designated for Uber RideShare for all Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center events. Fans should exit the Third Base Gate and walk along Pattison Avenue toward Broad Street to enter the lot and request a vehicle, which will meet each rider in the designated area.
  • Parking: Please click here for a parking map. Parking for Phillies games is cashless. Methods of payment include credit/debit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay). To expedite entry, pre-paid parking passes may also be purchased prior to the game.
