ARLINGTON, TX – Globe Life Field will host two additional college baseball games this Spring. The College Baseball Series presented by Higginbotham will now include Dallas Baptist University vs. UT Arlington on Tuesday, February 21, and Abilene Christian vs. University of Oklahoma on February 22.  

The Sooners have made 12 appearances at Globe Life Field within the past 2 years, 8 of which were wins over top-tier programs. They claimed the Big 12 Championship title at Globe Life Field in 2022, beating Texas 8-1 in the final game. Abilene Christian will make its first appearance at Globe Life Field to take on the University of Oklahoma. 

DBU returns to Globe Life Field for its second venue appearance and enters the series with a win over UTA at Globe Life Field. This will be the Mavericks’ fifth matchup at the ballpark.  

These games are in addition to the previously announced College Baseball Showdown presented by Higginbotham. College Baseball Showdown presented by Higginbotham will include games between TCU, Texas, Oklahoma State University, University of Missouri, University of Arkansas, and Vanderbilt. 

New to 2023, fans at College Baseball Showdown presented by Higginbotham will be able to purchase tickets in an exclusive fan zone. Fans will be able to experience a party in left field with exclusive team-colored koozies, drink specials, backyard games, a photo booth and more. Fan Zone passes can be purchased for additional fee of $10 per day, and $24 for a weekend pass.

Credential applications are now open for the 2023 College Baseball Games presented by Higginbotham. The deadline for all media applications is 48 hours prior to the event. Credential applications can be made at REVEntertainment.com/Credentials.
