The right-hander also appeared in 11 minor league contests with Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 1-0 with two saves, a 2.70 ERA (3 ER/10.0 IP), and 17 strikeouts. This offseason, he made seven relief appearances for Gigantes del Cibao of the Dominican Winter League, over which he compiled a 1-0 record, 4.50 ERA (3 ER/6.0 IP), and five strikeouts against seven walks. The Santiago, Dominican Republic native was originally signed by the San Francisco Giants as a non-drafted free agent on June 2, 2011, and has produced a lifetime 10-11 record, three saves, 3.02 ERA (57 ER/170.0 IP), and 10.6 strikeouts per 9.0 innings figure across 175 Major League relief appearances with the Giants (2017-21), Dodgers (2022), and Diamondbacks (2022). He was claimed off waivers by the Mariners on Aug. 1, released on Aug. 10 after appearing in just one game for the club, and eventually returned to New York as a minor league free agent on Aug. 16.
