Mauer and Friends Kids Classic

Join us for a Home Run Challenge at Target Field on Tuesday, June 15!

This family friendly event, hosted by Joe and Maddie Mauer, brings an amazing line up of Minnesota athletes to Target Field to take swings for a great cause!

Every athlete competing in the Home Run Challenge will get two opportunities to hit as many home runs as possible. The top eight earners will then compete in a single elimination bracket until a Mauer & Friends Home Run Challenge Champion is named!

Confirmed Athletes: Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau, Darin Mastroianni, Brian Duensing, Trevor Plouffe, Brian Dozier, Nick Punto, Joe Nathan, Jim Thome and more to be announced!

The event will be emceed by Cory Provus, providing a unique game-day experience for sports fans of all ages!

All ticket proceeds are a direct donation to Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. Tickets are on sale now.

Event Begins: 1:00pm

Tickets for this event are general admission by seating area.

All Twins tickets will be delivered digitally via the MLB Ballpark app, and contactless ticket-scanning technology will be utilized at all gates.

Accessible seating is available on all levels at Target Field and will also be general admission by seating area.

Event Ticket Prices: $25 - $75

  • Athletes will be hitting softballs provide by Monsta Athletics
  • Any ball caught can be kept as a souvenir to the attendee, select balls may be signed by Athletes participating in the Home Run Challenge
  • All guests at Target Field are strongly encouraged, but not required to wear face coverings while in the ballpark’s outdoor spaces, except when actively eating or drinking. Per current City of Minneapolis ordinance, face coverings remain mandated for guests ages two (2) and over while in Target Field’s indoor dining, bar and retail areas, unless actively eating or drinking.
  • Baseball gloves are allowed
  • Concessions will be available for purchase.
