There have been many memorable first pitches over the years. What we saw at the Reno Aces' game on Friday night at Greater Nevada Field (home of the D-backs' Triple-A affiliate) certainly qualifies as notable.
Two performers from the Cirque Alice show at the Eldorado Resort in Reno, Nev., each threw a first pitch with one balancing on the other’s head. The performer on the bottom tossed an underhand throw to the catcher, which was preceded by the balancing performer on top making a toss.
Minor League Baseball games certainly bring out the uniqueness and quirkiness with entertainment, but even this first pitch caught our attention.
