Twins bringing fan 'Big Heads' into Target Field

For $80, fans can see a two-and-a-half-foot likeness of their face at future 2020 Twins home games

July 29th, 2020

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins are providing another unique avenue for fans to celebrate the 2020 season, as people across Twins Territory can now bring their faces into Target Field in a “big” way. For $80 ($40 for Season Ticket Holders), fans can purchase a two-and-a-half-foot high likeness of their face to be featured in a lower-level seat at Target Field; each individual “big head” will be authenticated and returned to fans after the season as a keepsake. To be part of the in-ballpark experience, have a chance to see their face during FOX Sports North broadcasts, and own a one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia from the 2020 season, fans should please visit twinsbaseball.com/fanface. Note: Fan “big heads” are limited in quality and will be installed in waves, with the first set to be in place for the start of the Twins’ second homestand on August 14.

The big heads made their debut during the 2020 Target Field opener last night, as more than 80 Twins legends “looked on” from the Thomson Reuters Champions Club as the team began the home portion of their 60th season in Minnesota with a 6-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals (a full list of the Twins legends big heads can be found below).

When the “big head” fan faces are introduced at Target Field beginning with the Twins’ August 14 home game against the Kansas City Royals, they will join the existing fan photo mosaic that measures 53 feet high by 38 feet, seven inches wide and is secured into section 331 of the U.S. Bank Home Run Porch.
