- Do I really need to be a Cubs fan in order to enter?
- Yes! This challenge is a celebration of Cubs fandom as much as it is a celebration of great chocolate chip cookies. We’re looking for recipes – and stories – from fans who love the team and want to help us mark the Cubs 150th Anniversary in a deliciously special way.
- Can I enter if I’m a professional chef or baker?
- No. To keep the competition fair and focused on celebrating Cubs fans and their homemade chocolate chip cookies, the challenge is open only to amateur home bakers and is not open to professional chefs or bakers.
- Does the recipe need to include chocolate chips?
- Yes! We are searching for the best chocolate chip cookie recipe to be served at Wrigley Field during the Cubs 150th Anniversary Celebration.
- Why do I need to include the full ingredient list and step-by-step baking instructions?
- A complete ingredient list and clear step‑by‑step instructions ensure your cookie can be recreated consistently during judging and, if you win, baked to perfection for fans at Wrigley Field during the Cubs 150th Anniversary Celebration.
- If I’m named a finalist, do I need to attend the bake-off in person?
- Yes! Finalists will need to participate in the live bake‑off so our judges can taste your chocolate chip cookies fresh and get to know the baker behind the recipe. It’s an important (and fun!) part of selecting the winner.
- Can I submit more than one recipe?
- No. Only one recipe entry is allowed per person.
- What if I’m having issues with the entry form or uploading my information?
