Champions Gate is located at the western entrance to Gallagher Way. The monument honors the Cubs’ 1907, 1908 and 2016 World Series championship teams, with each title year displayed across the archway. A bronze World Championships medallion sits above, framed by bronze ivy inspired by one of Wrigley Field’s most iconic features.
Commemorative plaques recognize the players and managers behind each championship and share the stories of the teams’ historic achievements, including the end of the Cubs’ 108-year title drought in 2016. Space has been reserved for future plaques, so generations of Cubs champions can be added to the monument.
