For the second straight year, the Dodgers will receive a nice bonus to go with their World Series rings.
Los Angeles’ 2025 postseason shares were worth $484,747.57 each, part of a total pool worth nearly $128.2 million. The total players’ pool -- which stems from factors such as games played, shares distributed and ballpark capacities, among other things -- fell shy of last year’s record by less than $1 million.
The Dodgers’ shares were slightly higher than their championship shares from 2024 -- last year’s were worth $477,440.70 -- as Los Angeles issued fewer shares this season. The Dodgers awarded 82 full shares, 12.5 partial shares and $340,000 in cash awards from their 2025 pool.
The total pool for the American League champion Blue Jays was $30,764,679.60; Toronto issued 70 full shares and 15.44 partial shares, with a full share coming in at $354,118.39.
The Brewers and Mariners, who lost in the League Championship Series, took home a pool worth $15,382,339.80 each. Milwaukee handed out 70 full shares worth $168,852.75 each (plus 17.66 partial shares) while Seattle’s shares were worth $182,376.45 each (69 full, 14.66 partial).
Prior to the World Series, the total pools are the same for the teams that reach each round. The size of full shares varies based on how many each team votes to give out, as well as partial shares and cash awards.
