Indians reduce spring roster by twelve (12) players

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League Spring Training roster:

Optioned RHP AUSTIN ADAMS, LHP TJ HOUSE, INF JESUS AGUILAR, INF JOSE RAMIREZ and OF CARLOS MONCRIEF to Triple-A Columbus.

Optioned INF ERIK GONZALEZ to Single-A Carolina.

Re-assigned INF FRANCISCO LINDOR, C JAKE LOWERY, OF TYLER NAQUIN, C ROBERTO PEREZ, INF JOEY WENDLE and C/INF TONY WOLTERS to Minor League camp.

The first roster reduction of the spring brings the total number of players in Major League camp to 53.
