Highlights for Marlins' final homestand of 2018

The Miami Marlins return home for the final homestand of the 2018 season, beginning the six-game homestand on Monday, with the first of a two-game set against the Washington Nationals. The Marlins will then host the Cincinnati Reds for a four-game series, beginning on Thursday, September 20.

MIAMI -- The Miami Marlins return home for the final homestand of the 2018 season, beginning the six-game homestand on Monday, with the first of a two-game set against the Washington Nationals. The Marlins will then host the Cincinnati Reds for a four-game series, beginning on Thursday, September 20.
The highlights of the Marlins' upcoming homestand include:
TIKD Salute & Serve Mondays - Monday, Sept. 17 vs. the Nationals
Social Media Night - Thursday, Sept. 20 vs. the Reds
· Fans who purchase the ticket package at Marlins.com/Themes will receive an exclusive Marlins Social Media Night T-shirt, and the first 100 purchasers will receive a meet-and-greet with a Marlins player.
Native American Heritage Day presented by Miccosukee Resort & Gaming - Friday, Sept. 21 vs. the Reds

Comunidad 305 Night - Saturday, Sept. 22 vs. the Reds
· The Marlins are celebrating the diverse culture of Miami with the first ever Comunidad 305 Night. Fans who purchase the ticket package at Marlins.com/Comunidad will receive an exclusive Comunidad 305 T-shirt featuring their country's flag and colors (countries available: Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and Venezuela). Prior to the game, the Marlins will present a check for more than $45,000 to the benefitting charities from the 2018 Heritage Celebrations. There will be a postgame party at The 5th Base presented by Corona Light, with a concert featuring GioBeta - Tribute to Marc Anthony.

· Marlins players and coaches will wear a "Ponle Acento" T-shirt during batting practice as part of the league-wide initiative. In addition, Marlins players will visit Twin Lakes Elementary School on Friday, Sept. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and help students with a food forest harvest and distribution of fresh produce.

Mexican Heritage Day - Sunday, Sept. 23 vs. the Reds
· Fans who purchase the ticket package at Marlins.com/Mexico will receive an exclusive Mexican heritage jersey. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket package will support the Mexican American Council. There will be a postgame mariachi concert at the 5th Base presented by Corona Light with Los Mora Arreaga.
