Marlins announce 2018 Opening Day roster

The Miami Marlins today announced their 2018 Opening Day 25-man roster.

The Miami Marlins today announced their 2018 Opening Day 25-man roster, making the following transactions to set the roster: place RHP Brett Graves to 60-day disabled list (left oblique strain); designate C Austin Nola for assignment; select contract of RHP Jacob Turner; select contract of INF Yadiel Rivera; select contract of C Bryan Holaday; and recall LHP Jarlin García, LHP Dillon Peters, and OF Braxton Lee.
The Club will open the season carrying 12 pitchers, three catchers, six infielders and four outfielders for its Opening Day game this afternoon against the Chicago Cubs at Marlins Park.

The following players will begin the season on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26: LHP Wei-Yin Chen (left elbow strain), RHP Elieser Hernandez (tooth infection), RHP Dan Straily (right forearm strain), C J.T. Realmuto (low back contusion), INF Martín Prado (left hamstring strain), and INF JT Riddle (right shoulder tendinitis).
