MIAMI – Three days after outrighting five players, the Marlins made a flurry of additional moves that impacted their 40-man roster on Monday afternoon.

They are as follows:

The Marlins reinstated righties , and as well as lefties and from the 60-day IL
Monday marked the deadline to add players on the 60-day IL back to the 40-man roster.

Henriquez, who underwent elbow surgery in December 2025, is expected to be full-go for Spring Training. Mazur (March 2026 elbow surgery) will return to game action either April or May, while Snelling (June 2026 elbow surgery) has a May/June timeline. Relievers Kempner and Nardi will be sidelined for the majority if not all of the 2027 season after undergoing elbow surgeries in August.

Henriquez will be a high-leverage option out of the bullpen. Mazur and Snelling will be starting-pitching options as the season progresses.

Infielder  claimed by the White Sox
Pauley, whom the Marlins acquired in the Tanner Scott/Bryan Hoeing trade, shuttled back and forth between the Majors and Minors five times this season after entering Spring Training in competition with Connor Norby for the third-base job.

In 62 games, Pauley hit .211/.257/.373 with nine doubles, one triple, four homers and 25 RBIs. It was a disappointing performance for Pauley, who posted an .840 OPS in 33 second-half games in 2025 and played above-average defense at the hot corner.

The 26-year-old Pauley had no remaining Minor League options and was a left-handed bat on a left-handed-heavy roster.

Remaining 40-man infield options at positions Pauley has played in the Majors include Kyle Stowers, Griffin Conine and Deyvison De Los Santos (first base); Xavier Edwards and Jared Serna (second base); and Javier Sanoja and Maximo Acosta (third base).

The Marlins claim right-hander from the Mets
Weston, 26, made his Major League debut with the Orioles on May 28, 2026, which remains his lone MLB appearance. He struck out a batter and walked another in a scoreless ninth. During that 17-pitch outing, he utilized a sinker, sweeper, forkball and slider.

The Mets claimed Weston from the Orioles on Sept. 3, and he went on to allow one run over 6 1/3 innings in four relief outings at the Triple-A level.

Mostly used as a starter in the Minors, Weston is likely better suited as a reliever going forward. He could be one of those relief targets the Marlins are able to help with the right pitch usage.

Right-hander claimed by the Orioles
White, whom the Marlins protected from last year’s Rule 5 Draft, allowed five runs on four walks and one homer while recording just two outs in his only MLB appearance.

At Triple-A Jacksonville, White compiled a 2.41 ERA and a 1.214 WHIP with two saves in 36 games. He also spent time on the MiLB seven-day injured list in September.

Left-hander outrighted to Triple-A Jacksonville
For the second consecutive season, the Marlins selected Monteverde’s contract when the pitching staff was taxed. He gave up four runs over four innings of long relief on Aug. 28 in his only game.

Miami's 40-man roster is at 36.
