Went 3-2 with a 5.07 ERA (28 ER/49.2 IP) in 59 relief appearances during his third Major League season, walking 18 batters against 70 strikeouts...Made second career Opening Day roster...Allowed just one earned run in nine innings during the month of May (1.00 ERA), with two hits, one walk, and 10 strikeouts. Opponents went 2-for-28 (.071) against him...Reached the 70-strikeout plateau on Aug. 20 vs. ARI. Became the sixth reliever in Marlins history to record 70-ormore strikeouts in multiple seasons (also 2023), joining AJ Ramos (4x), Tanner Scott (2x), Kyle Barraclough (2x), Steve Cishek (2x), and Robb Nen (2x)...Nardi joined Tanner Scott as the only two left-handed relievers in club history to record multiple seasons of 70+ strikeouts...Was placed on the 15-day Injured List with a left elbow muscle injury on Aug. 24 (retroactive to Aug. 22). Among relievers with 30+ inherited runners, allowed 13% to score; ranked second in MLB (behind CLE’s Nick Sandlin, 11%). Was one of four left-handed relievers on the Marlins with 70-plus strikeouts (others, Steven Okert, A.J. Puk, Tanner Scott). Marked the first time in franchise history that two or more left-handed relievers finished with 70-plus strikeouts in a season. His 52 scoreless outings ranked second in the Marlins bullpen behind Tanner Scott (60). Made first career Postseason appearance on Oct. 4 at PHI. Allowed three runs (two earned) on a three-run homer over 1.1 innings with one walk and two strikeouts. Went 5-1 at loanDepot park with a 3.72 ERA (12 ER/29.0 IP) in 32 apps. and 3-0 with a 1.59 ERA (five ER/28.1 IP) in 31 away games.
