Miami Marlins Foundation to hand out 1,000 meals on Monday, November 25 for 10th annual Thanksgiving Distribution sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka

MIAMI -- The 10th annual Miami Marlins Home Plate Meals Thanksgiving Distribution sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka will bring a Thanksgiving meal to 1,000 local families. The Miami Marlins Foundation, in partnership with Feeding South Florida, will host the event on the West Plaza at Marlins Park, where families will have the opportunity to meet Marlins players and staff, and receive a family Thanksgiving dinner, featuring a turkey and other food items. The Miami Marlins Foundation partnered with more than 50 nonprofit agencies to distribute 1,000 meal vouchers to local underserved families.

Miami Marlins CEO Derek Jeter, Marlins players Lewis Brinson, Isan Díaz and Miguel Rojas, and Marlins alumni Álex González and Charles Johnson, along with members from the Marlins front office staff and Tito’s Love volunteers, will distribute food items to the families.
