Next homestand features three bobblehead nights

SAN DIEGO -- The Mets announced that they will host three bobblehead nights over a five-game span during their upcoming homestand at Citi Field.

On Friday, fans who purchase a $35 Social Media Night ticket at Mets.com/jaybobble will receive a bobblehead of longtime Mets vice president of media relations Jay Horwitz. A portion of proceeds from those tickets will benefit Shannon Forde, a Mets staffer who was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer last year.

On Sunday, Aug. 25, the first 25,000 fans who arrive at Citi Field will receive a Tom Seaver bobblehead.

And on Tuesday, Aug. 27, fans who buy a Pepsi Porch ticket for $59 at Mets.com/GKR will receive a bobblehead of Mets broadcasters Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling, as well as the choice of a hot dog, burger or slice of pizza and a soft drink. A portion of proceeds from those tickets will go to the GKR Foundation.
