2013 World Baseball Classic Champion Dominican Republic team to be celebrated with parade in the D.R. on Thursday, November 28th

Robinson Cano, Jose Reyes, Hanley Ramirez, Fernando Rodney and many more will be on hand for the celebration

The 2013 World Baseball Classic Champion Dominican Republic team will be honored for winning the World Baseball Classic in March with a parade in the Dominican Republic on Thursday, November 28th. World Baseball Classic MVP Robinson Cano, Jose Reyes, Hanley Ramirez, Fernando Rodney and most of the Championship team will be on hand for the celebration.

The parade will begin at Estadio Quisqueya at 4:00 p.m. (AT)/3:00 p.m. (ET) and continue through Villa Maria and Don Bosco before returning to Estadio Quisqueya for the conclusion. Following the parade, there will be a fireworks show to cap off the festivities. Prior to the parade, the players will be presented with their Championship rings at the Presidential Palace by President Danilo Medina.

The Dominican Republic won the third edition of the World Baseball Classic in March with a 3-0 win over Puerto Rico. The Dominican Republic went 8-0 in the tournament, becoming the only team in the history of the event to go undefeated en route to their Championship.
