Major League veteran Joaquin Arias collected a double, a single and three RBIs for the Aguilas on Thursday, while fellow big league vet Brandon Moss went deep and drove in two. Leadoff hitter Elian Herrera (Dodgers) also knocked in a pair, and No. 9 hitter Juan Perez (Giants) scored twice. Julio Borbon (Rangers) turned in the Leones' best offensive performance after entering as a pinch-hitter in the seventh, as he went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored. Miguel Batista (Mets) was credited with the win after tossing 1 1/3 scoreless innings in relief. After the Leones initially went up 3-0 in the Championship Series, Cibaenas have won two games in a row to make it 3-2. Box score

Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos recorded three hits, including two doubles, and a run scored as the Tigres took a 2-1 series lead in the Finals. Former Cardinals farmhand Jose Martinez drove in a pair for Aragua, while former Pirates Minor Leaguer Jorge Cortes smacked a solo homer. Mariners farmhand Luis Antonio Jimenez led the Tiburones by homering and driving in two. Rays reliever Romulo Sanchez picked up the win after tossing two scoreless innings out of the bullpen.
