Tim Hudson Records 200th Win

Since making his Major League debut in 1999 with the Oakland Athletics, Tim Hudson has been a consistent and reliable pitcher. He has now played in 412 games, pitched more than 2,700 innings and recorded over 1,800 strikeouts. Moreover, in last night’s game against the Washington Nationals, Hudson recorded his 200th win, becoming only the 110th pitcher to record 200 career wins.

Even more impressively, however, is that the 37-year-old veteran did it in style. The right-hander didn’t allow a hit until the fifth inning and only allowed three hits throughout seven complete innings. On top of that, he also helped his team get the win by hitting his third career home run and a double off of Nationals pitcher Zach Duke. An impressive game that certainly encapsulates Hudson’s professional career.
