Brett Alexander Wallace…married to Taylar…graduated from Justin-Siena High School (CA) and went on to attend Arizona State University...at ASU, was a First-Team All-American in both 2007 and 2008...named Pac-10 Player of the Year in his sophomore and junior seasons (2007-08), just the fifth player in conference history to win the award in consecutive seasons...captured the Pac-10 Triple Crown both seasons and led the Sun Devils to the College World Series in 2007.

Set career-highs in homers (13) and slugging percentage (.431) with Houston after playing in 79 Major League games....Made the club out of Spring Training but was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on 4/18 after going 1-for-24 in his first seven games....Hit .326 (76-for-233) with 16 doubles, 11 homers, 37 RBI and a .952 OPS (.398 OBP, .554 SLG) in 60 games with OKC... 2015
In his first year with the Padres played in 64 games, hitting a career-best .302 with five home runs and 16 RBI after signing as a minor league free agent the previous offseason....Of his 64 games for San Diego, only 12 were starts, with nine at first base, two as the designated hitter and one at third base....Worked primarily as a pinch-hitter for the Padres, hitting .349 (15-53) with four home runs and 12 RBI over 50 pinch-hit appearances…his .349 average was the second-best pinch-hit average in the Majors while his four pinch-hit home runs and 12 RBI in the pinch led the Majors....His four pinch-hit home runs were the most by a Padre since Matt Stairs also hit four in 2010…only one other Padre had ever had more than four pinch-hit home runs in a season, Jerry Turner with five in 1978....Began the year with Triple-A El Paso, signing with the Padres as a minor league free agent prior to the start of the season…was selected from El Paso on 6/19, spending the remainder of the season with the Major League club....Made his Padres debut with a pinch-hit appearance that day on 6/19 at ARI, his first appearance in the Majors since 2013 with the Houston Astros....On 9/8 vs. COL he came up with his first career walk-off RBI, a fielders choice in the ninth to score Cory Spangenberg.... Did not appear in a Major League game for the first time since 2009 as he split the season between Baltimore and Toronto's Triple-A clubs....Opened Spring Training with the Astros, but was released on 3/12....Signed a with the Orioles on 3/23 and appeared in 90 games for Triple-A Norfolk, hitting .265 with 10 homers and 25 RBI....Was acquired by Toronto for cash considerations on 7/14 and appeared in 38 games for Triple-A Buffalo, hitting .323 with seven homers and 23 RBI for the Bisons.
2012
Spent the majority of his season with Triple A OKC...during his time with Houston, posted a .273
average (15x55) with two HR off lefties...during his time at Triple A this year, hit .354 (35x99) with eight HR
off of left-handed pitching...went 3x4, and had his first career two-homer game, while driving in three runs
on Aug. 1 at MIL...vastly improved his HR/AB ratio in 2012, hitting nine HR in his 66g in 2012, as opposed
to hitting five total in his 115 MLB games last year...started the season with Triple A OKC...was promoted
to Houston on June 3...was optioned back down to OKC on June 19...was recalled again on July 30 and
remained with the club for the remainder of the season, playing 55 games in his final stint with the Astros...

Wallace...when acquired, Wallace was assigned to Triple A Round Rock but did not appear in a game...instead his contract was
purchased by Houston on July 31, the same day the club traded starting first baseman Lance Berkman...posted a .301 (116x385)
average with Las Vegas, while hitting 18 homers and driving in 61 RBI...named a PCL All-Star...hit .384 (43x112) against lefthanded
pitchers...hit his first Major League home run on Sept. 7 at CHC off of RHP Carlos Silva in what was his 102nd MLB

2008
After being drafted in the June free-agent draft, reported to Quad Citites (A) in July... Hit .327 in 41 games... Was
the Midwest League Player of the Week, 7/28-8/3 after hitting .429 (12-28) with 2 HRs and nine RBI in that span... Transferred
to Springfield (AA) on Aug. 19... Hit in nine straight (.400) upon arriving at Springfield and had six multi-hit games
with a hit in each contest except two... Served as the DH and played 47 combined games at third base between his two
stops... In the final 13 games at Springfield, hit .367 with five doubles, three homers and 11 RBI... Played in the Arizona
