Full name is Donald Marek Snelten…was originally drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 30th round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft, but did not sign…graduated from Lakes Community (Ill.) H.S. in 2010.

2021

Signed with the Chicago Cubs to a minor league contract on 11/16/20, but did not pitch.

2020

Signed with the Tampa Bay Rays to a minor league contract on 1/7…spent the entire season at the Rays’ Alternate Site, but did not pitch in the Majors.

2019

Spent the entire season with the Chicago Dogs in the independent American Association… ranked 3rd in the league with 112 SO.

2018

Recalled by the Giants on April 28 and made 4 apps over 10 days with the club, his only career major league stint…his major league debut came in the second game of a doubleheader on April 28 vs. LAD, going 1.1 scoreless innings including a strikeout of Yasmani Grandal…optioned on May 7 after allowing 4 ER in 2 IP that night at Philadelphia… designated for assignment on May 28 and claimed off waivers by the Orioles on June 4.

2017

Split his fifth professional season between double-A Richmond and triple-A Sacramento, combining for an 8-1 record and a 2.20 ERA (18er, 73.2ip) in 51 relief appearances...Dominated out of the Richmond bullpen during April & May (1.66 ERA) before a successful run with Sacramento in which he logged a 2.42 ERA and held opponents to a .197 opponents batting average in 36 relief outings...Capped his season in the Arizona Fall League working 12.0 innings of relief with just three runs allowed and 11 strikeouts...Was added to the Giants' 40-man roster in Nov. 2017.
