Spent the full season with Single-A Fort Wayne in the Padres system, pacing the club with 31 doubles and logging the third-most hits (123)...Plated 79 runs on the season, good for second- most on the team...Started the year hitting .264 (84-for-318) over the season's first three months, before hitting just .187 (39-for-209) in July, August and September...Collected the first four-hit game of his career on 6/24 vs. Dayton, going 4-for-6 with a double, RBI and two runs.

Made his professional debut with the Arizona League Padres after being a second-round pick (50th overall) in the 2013 June free agent draft...Rated by Baseball America following the season as the No. 15 prospect in the Arizona League.
