Single...Played three seasons (2014-16) at Boston College…was a Third Team All-America by Baseball America as a junior in 2016 after going 4-2 with a 2.06 ERA (15 ER/65.2 IP) and 72 strikeouts in 18 games (eight starts) with the Eagles...Graduated in 2013 from The Frederick Gunn School, a college preparatory school in Washington, Conn...His younger brother, Ryan, plays for the Phoenix Suns...Originally was selected by Los Angeles-NL in the 37th round of the 2013 draft, but did not sign.

2024

Did not pitch while continuing his recovery from a right shoulder injury that caused him to miss most of the 2023 season.

2023

Spent the season on the Reds 60-day injured list…made two rehab starts with the Arizona Complex League Reds (8/16 and 8/19) and one with Class AAA Louisville (8/22).

2022

On 3/14 was acquired from the Mariners, along with OF Jake Fraley, minor league LHP Brandon Williamson and a player to be named (RHP Connor Phillips, 3/29), for 3B Eugenio Suárez and OF Jesse Winker...Did not make an appearance in spring training for the Reds or Mariners because of a right shoulder injury that bothered him the previous season...From Opening Day-7/23 missed 93 games while on the 60-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation... beginning 9/15 missed the last 20 games of the season while on the 15-day IL with right shoulder tightness...Between stints on the 60-day and 15-day injured lists, from 8/8-9/11 made all seven of his starts for the Reds...From 6/26-7/23 made six rehabilitation appearances for Dayton (1gs) and Louisville (5gs) before he was reinstated from the 60-day IL and optioned to Louisville on 7/24...made two more starts for the Bats before he was promoted on 8/8...Made his Reds and season debut in the 5-1 loss on 8/8 at Mets, his first Major League appearance since 6/17/21 for Sea vs TB...Took the spot in the rotation vacated by RHP Hunter Greene, who went on the 15-day injured list with a right shoulder strain...from 7/29 until Dunn's season debut, the Reds lost starting pitchers to trade or injury RHP Luis Castillo (to the Mariners), RHP Tyler Mahle (to the Twins), Robert Dugger (right shoulder pain), Greene (right shoulder strain) and RHP Graham Ashcraft (right biceps soreness)...His last start of the season, on 9/11 at Mil, was cut short by illness...the next day went on the injured list... was reinstated on 9/14 after missing three games...on 9/15 went on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder tightness...Made one rehabilitation start with Louisville, on 9/27 vs Gwinnett (3ip, 0h, 0r, 2bb, 4k), but didn't pitch again the rest of the season while remaining on the 15-day injured list.

Made a career-high 11 starts for the Mariners surrounding two stints on the 10-day injured list for right shoulder inflammation (6/1-6/10, 6/18-remainder of the season)...on 8/19 was transferred to the 60-day DL...Made his last appearance of the season on 6/17 vs TB (2ip, 1h, 0r, 0bb, 1k, 30pch).

2020

Went 4-1 with a 4.34 ERA (22 ER, 45.2 IP) in 10 starts with Seattle…limited opponents to a .189 (31x164) with 31 walks and 38 strikeouts...Earned first Major League win on Aug. 10 at Texas, allowing two runs on seven hits while walking three and striking out two in 6.0 innings...Tossed at least 5.0 innings in 6 of his 10 starts, including 5 of his final 6 starts of the season (8/23-9/26)…tossed a season-high 6.0 innings in 4 times: Aug. 10 at TEX (6.0,7,2,2,3,2), Aug. 23 vs. TEX (6.0,1,0,0,1,6), Aug. 30 at LAA (6.0,1,0,0,4,6) and Sept. 6 vs. TEX (6.0,4,2,2,4,4,2HR)...Went 2-0 with a 1.00 ERA (2 ER, 18.0 IP) over three starts, Aug. 23-Sept. 6…during this stretch limited opponents to a .102 (6x59) average, while walking nine and striking out 16...Became the first Mariners pitcher in club history to record back-to-back outings of at least 6.0 innings pitched and one hit or fewer allowed…among pitchers age 24 or younger, this feat has only been accomplished three other times in a single season since the inception of the franchise in 1977: Dennis Eckersley (5/30 – 6/3/1977), Marvin Freeman (9/21 – 9/26/1986) and Barry Zito (7/29 – 8 /4/2001)…the last pitcher of any age to accomplish this feat was Trevor Bauer (3/30 – 4/4/2019)…Dunn worked 6.0 innings and allowed one hit on Aug. 23 vs. the Rangers before tossing 6.0 innings of one-hit ball on Aug. 30 at the Angels...Limited opponents to a .189 (31x164) average against…among pitchers with at least 45.0 innings pitched this season, his .189 average against is 5thbest in the American League, trailing only Shane Bieber-CLE (.167), Kenta Maeda-MIN (.168), Lucas Giolito-CWS (.184) and Cristian Javier-HOU (.188)...Logged four starts this season in which he has worked at least 6.0 innings while allowing two runs or fewer: Aug. 10 at Texas, Aug. 23 vs. Texas, Aug. 30 at Los Angeles-AL and Sept. 6 vs. TEX... 2018

Named the Mets Sterling Organizational Pitcher of the Year…after the season, ranked as the club's 4th-best (MLB.com) and 5th-best prospect (Baseball America)…split the season with High-A St. Lucie and Double-A Binghamton, going 8-8, 3.59 (54 ER, 135.1 IP) with 156 strikeouts and 52 walks in 24 starts…promoted to Binghamton on June 10.

2017

In 20 games (16 starts) with High-A St. Lucie, struck out 75 in 95.1 innings.

2016

Made pro debut with Short-Season-A Brooklyn, where he posted a 1.50 ERA (5 ER, 30.0 IP).
