Started season with High-A Hudson Valley, in Yankees organization, where he made 15 relief appearances...After yielding four runs in his season debut, pitched to a 1.48 ERA (30.1 IP - 5 ER) with two saves during his last 14 games for Renegades...Was promoted to Double-A Somerset on July 6 and posted a 1.50 ERA (12 IP - 2 ER) with 17 strikeouts in six games for Patriots...Overall, compiled 57 strikeouts while walking 16 across his two stops in the Yankees system...Traded to Angels organization alongside RHP Janson Junk on July 30 in exchange for LHP Andrew Heaney and cash considerations...Was assigned to Double-A Rocket City...Following four games with Trash Pandas, was promoted to Triple-A Salt Lake on Aug. 19...Pitched 2.0 scoreless innings in Bees debut, before having contract selected by Angels on Sept. 17...Made Major League debut Aug. 26 at Baltimore and ultimately made three appearances for Angels before returning to Salt Lake for remainder of season.
