Ranked in Washington’s system in RBI (2nd, 71), homers (5th, 16), slugging percentage (5th, .458), extra-base hits (6th, 38) and OPS (8th, .783)…Had his contract selected on Sept. 9 and made his MLB debut on Sept. 11 at Philadelphia...With his debut, he became the third member of Washington’s 2016 international class to appear in MLB (Joan Adon and Luis García)…Recorded his first Major League hit on Oct. 5 at Citi Field against the Mets...Singled in the fifth inning against Trevor Williams.

2021

Ranked tied for fourth among Nationals Minor Leaguers with a career-high 14 home runs, while his career-high 48 RBI were tied for eighth...Went 14-for-37 (.378) with three doubles, two homers, 11 RBI, two walks and four runs scored in 11 games from Aug. 5 through the end of the season...Opened the season 1-for-28 (.036)...From May 13 through the end of the season, hit .227 with a .284 on-base percentage and a .431 slugging percentage...Led High-A East catchers with 65 assists... Threw out 40.3% (27-for-67) would-be base stealers...Went 8-for-27 (.296) with two doubles and six RBI in nine games with Surprise of the Arizona Fall League.
