Brett de Geus… pitched two seasons at Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA…was 9-2, 1.94 in 2017 and earned 1st team Coast Conference all-Pacific Division honors…was 4-2, 2.35 in 14 appearances in senior year at Foothills High School in Pleasanton, CA (graduated 2015).

2020

Was 0-1 with a 2.57 ERA (2 ER/7.0 IP) over six relief appearances with the Dodgers in Spring Training in Arizona… was a member of LAD’s summer camp roster and pitched in an exhibition outing on 7/21 vs. LAA at Dodger Stadium...also spent a brief stint on the Dodgers’ Alternate Training Site once regular season began…did not participate in the club’s fall instructional league camp. 

2019

Combined to go 6-2, 1.75 with eight saves in 39 games at Great Lakes (Low-A) and Rancho Cucamonga (High-A) in 1st season as a reliever…recorded 72 strikeouts in 61.2 IP (10.5 K/9.0 IP)…opponent slash line of .205/.258/.215/.473 with a 0.941 WHIP…did not allow a home run all season… was selected as a Midwest League midseason All-Star at Great Lakes…converted all four save opportunities with the Loons…did not issue an earned run (two total runs) in final 13 appearances (20.1 IP), 5/14-6/26…was promoted to Rancho Cucamonga on 6/28 and allowed runs in just four of 20 appearances with the Quakes…tossed 15.2 consecutive scoreless innings in final 10 outings for the Quakes with three walks and 20 strikeouts…earned four saves in five tries…pitched for Glendale in the Arizona Fall League, posting 9.1 scoreless innings and being selected as an AFL Rising Star.
