2025

Recalled on April 7 after an injury to Omar Narváez and spent the remainder of the season with the major league club...Set the Mets franchise record for home runs by a rookie catcher with 25...His 25 homers were the second-most by any catcher in the Majors and tied for second among all rookies...Joined Pete Alonso (53, 2019) and Darryl Strawberry (26, 1983) as the only Mets rookies to have 20 or more home runs in a season...Became the ninth rookie catcher in Major League history with 20 or more homers in a season (Min. 60 percent games at catcher)...Was named NL Rookie of the Month for July...Had eight home runs, 16 RBI, 14 runs scored and a .974 OPS during the month...Mashed a pair of homers on May 9 at Cincinnati, his first career multi-homer game...Became the sixth Met ever with a multi-homer game at age 21 or younger, joining José Reyes, David Wright, Darryl Strawberry, Ed Kranepool and Ron Swoboda...Smashed a game-tying, three-run homer with the Mets down to their final out in the ninth vs. Tampa Bay on May 17...New York went on to win in extras...Blasted his first career grand slam and set a career-high with six RBI on Sept. 30 vs. Philadelphia...Was his fourth multi-homer game of the season, joining Pete Alonso and Darryl Strawberry as the Mets rookies with the most multi-homer games.

Made his major league debut on Sept. 30 at Atlanta serving as the team's designated hitter...Homered for his first Major League hit in his first at-bat at Citi Field on Oct. 4 in game two of the team's doubleheader vs. Washington...He became the 16th Met whose first career hit was a homer...Was 20 years, 319 days old when he slugged his first homer...Iván Rodríguez (20 years, 222 days old) is the only younger catcher to hit a major league home run...Underwent surgery on Oct. 18 to address cartilage damage resulting from a loose body in his right ankle...POSTSEASON...Went 0-1 in the NL Wild Card Series vs. San Diego.

2021

Was named the organization's 2021 Minor League Position Player of the Year...Split the season between St. Lucie (A) and Brooklyn (A+)...Was the youngest regular anywhere in High-A (age 19)...Began the season with St. Lucie where he hit .417 (20-48) with 12 runs, five extra-base hits, and two home runs in 15 games, then set a franchise-record with 22 home runs in 84 games with Brooklyn...Led Mets minor leaguers in RBI (70), extra-base hits (43), and slugging (.538)...Was second with 24 home runs...Socked a pinch-hit home run in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game at Coors Field.

2019

Split his first professional season between Rookie-level Kingsport and Rookie-level Gulf Coast...Combined to hit .312/.407/.510 with 32 runs, 10 doubles, seven home runs, 26 RBI and 21 walks in 42 games between the two levels...Began the season with the GCL Mets where he reached base safely in all seven games...He hit .462 (12-26) with eight runs, two home runs, 10 RBI and four walks in seven games...Went on a 16-game hitting streak with Kingsport from July 8 - Aug. 5, batting .417 (25-60) in that span with 15 runs, three doubles, two home runs, seven RBI, four walks and a 1.036 OPS...Socked two home runs on Aug. 24 as a member of Kingsport against Bluefield, going 2-4 with two runs and two RBI.
