Andrew James Bash...Instagram: @andrew_bash8...Graduated from Palm Desert High School in 2015...Named two-time All-CIF SS Division III first-teamer and DVL Offensive MVP, while also being named to the All-League First-Team on three separate occasions...Spent four years at California Baptist University; played in three seasons while making 42 combined appearances (38 starts), going 20-10, 2.68 ERA (67 ER/224.2 IP), 58 walks and 196 strikeouts...Two-way player for the Lancers, batting .320 (162-for-507) with 24 doubles, 30 home runs and 107 RBI across 158 combined contests (.955 OPS)...In 2018, earned three All-American nods with first-team honours in ABCA, D2CCA and NCBWA, along with second-team honours from the NCBWA, while being named PacWest and West Region Player of the Year from the NCBWA and D2CCA...During his junior season in 2019, was named 2nd Team All-WAC as a pitcher...Enjoys off-roading, quad-riding, golf and boating in his spare time.

2025

Spent the entire season with Triple-A Buffalo and made a professional single-season career-high with 40 appearances (five starts)...Made 27 appearances of at least two-plus innings and 10 appearances of three-plus innings...Held right-handed batters to a .209 average, compared to .248 against left-handed batters...Went 0-1, 1.88 ERA (14.1 IP, 3 ER) with a .271 average in five starts, compared to 6-1, 2.71 ERA (69.2 IP, 21 ER) with a .218 average in 35 relief appearances...Led Bisons in games (40) and relief innings (84.0) and ranked fourth in strikeouts (72).

2024

Was named the Bisons’ Warren Spahn Award winner as the team’s most valuable pitcher for 2024...Appeared in 27 games (16 starts) for Buffalo, going 4-0 with a 2.97 ERA (26 ER/78.2 IP), 35 walks and 72 strikeouts...Allowed no more than three earned runs in any appearance...Hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs in a game since June 14, 2022 as a member of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (5 ER)...Over 11 relief appearances for the Bisons, posted a 0.89 WHIP and a 2.66 ERA...After returning from an injury on Aug. 7 until the end of the season, went 2-0 with a 1.44 ERA (4 ER/25.0 IP) and a .145 OPP AVG over 13 games (three starts)...Since signing with the Blue Jays organization in 2021, has stranded 81% of his inherited runners (42 IR, 8 IRS).

2023

Made his first career appearance at MLB Spring Training in 2023, striking out the only hitter he faced on March 28 at PHI (Ricardo Rosario)...Split the season between New Hampshire and Buffalo, recording career-highs in appearances (36), starts (11), ERA (2.52), walks (47) and strikeouts (80) across 89.1 combined innings pitched.

2022

Remained at Double-A New Hampshire to begin the 2022 campaign, before being promoted to Triple-A Buffalo...In 34 combined appearances (five starts), collected career-highs in wins (10) and innings pitched (95.2), posting a 4.23 ERA (45 ER/95.2 IP) with 37 walks and 72 strikeouts.

2021

Began the 2021 season with Single-A Dunedin, making six appearances (two starts) and posting a 6.75 ERA (21 ER/28.0 IP) with 11 walks and 26 punchouts...Promoted to High-A Vancouver, where he appeared in nine contests (two starts) for the Canadians, going 3-0 with a 5.16 ERA (13 ER/22.2 IP), nine walks, and 20 strikeouts...Made one appearance with Double-A New Hampshire to end the campaign, pitching five scoreless innings while allowing three hits and a walk with four strikeouts...Appeared in five games (four starts) with the Missoula PaddleHeads of the Pioneer Independent League, going 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA (5 ER/25.0 IP), five walks, and 27 strikeouts.
