Considered the best prep left-handed pitcher in the 2020 First-Year Player Draft class out of Mustang High School in Oklahoma City, Okla...Named a High School Perfect Game All-American in 2019, but missed his senior year of high school in recovery from “Tommy John” surgery. 2025

Made 22 starts (23 appearances) in return from “Tommy John” surgery between Double-A Pensacola (19 games) and Triple-A Jacksonville (four games), going 5-11 with a 5.38 ERA (62 ER/103.2 IP), 59 walks and 115 strikeouts...His 115 strikeouts ranked fourth among Marlins’ farmhands and were the second-most in his professional career (150 K in 118.1 IP in 2022)...Invited to Major League Spring Training for the second time (also 2023), tossing three scoreless innings in two appearances with two strikeouts before being optioned to Double-A on March 8...Made official return to action on April 6 vs. Biloxi and in three starts in the month of April went 1-0 with a 3.46 ERA (5 ER/13 IP), eight walks and 12 strikeouts...Posted a 2.95 ERA (7 ER/21.1 IP) in five starts in May, his best month of the season. Held opponents to a .202 AVG (17x84) and 15 walks with 26 strikeouts. Credited with first career complete game on June 29 at Chattanooga despite suffering a loss in the seven-inning contest (6 IP, 5 H, 4 R/4 ER, 3 BB, 2 K)...Tossed a season-high seven innings on July 6 at Biloxi, allowing two runs on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts...Posted a 3-5 record and 3.86 ERA (21 ER/49 IP) in 11 starts prior to the All-Star Break, and a 2-6 record and 6.75 ERA (41 ER/54.2 IP) in 12 games (11 starts) after the Break...Promoted to Triple-A Jacksonville on Aug. 29 where he made four starts to finish the year (Aug. 29-Sept. 20), going 0-1 with a 5.51 ERA (10 ER/16.1 IP), 10 walks and 19 strikeouts in his first career action at the Triple-A level...Finished the season ranked as Miami’s No. 13 prospect per MLB Pipeline.

2022

Dax Fulton, listed as Miami’s No. 7 prospect by MLBPipeline entering 2023, finished the 2022 season in Double-A Pensacola where he went 1-1 with a 2.57 ERA (21.0 IP/6 ER) in foru games (three starts) and held opposing hitters to a .125 batting avg... Tossed 6.0 scoreless innings and allowed one hit with a career-high 13 strikeouts in the Division championship game for the Blue Wahoos, who went on to win the Southern League championship, Miami’s first affiliate to win a title since 2014... Earned the promotion to Double-A on Aug. 25. Made 20 starts at High-A Beloit, posting a 4.07 ERA (97.1 IP/44 ER) with 35 walks, 120 strikeouts and a 5-6 record....Went 2-0 with a 1.71 ERA (21.0 IP/4 ER) in four August starts... Named a 2022 MiLB.com Marlins Organization All-Star in his second professional season.
