Was limited to just five games/tw0 starts in an injury-interrupted campaign, posting a 9.00 ERA (13 ER/13.0 IP) for Hickory (A+) before being placed on the 7-day Injured List on 5/26 (retro. 5/24) due to a right forearm injury…was transferred to 60-day IL on 7/24…activated on 10/7 and appeared in seven games/three starts for Surprise of the Arizona Fall League, fanning 24 batters in 19.0 IP and recording a 5.21 ERA (11 ER/19.0 IP)…on 11/1 at Peoria, punched out a fall-high seven batters over 3.0 scoreless, hitless IP and picked up the win as part of a 2-1 Saguaros victory…was selected AFL Co-Pitcher of the Week (with fellow TEX farmhand RHP Josh Stephan) for 10/28-11/3 following the performance.
